I recently complained to the postmaster about lousy mail service here at the Jefferson Place Apartments. The label in my box is plainly marked with my name and the last name of the previous occupant (for forwarding purposes), yet I continue to receive mail for people who have been gone so long that even the manager doesnt remember them. Whats so hard about updating a forwarding case and reading a label? I worked for the P.O. for a number of years and thats what letter carriers are supposed to do. The conscientious ones, anyway. But the postmaster chose to bully me with threats of visits by the postal inspectors rather than address the problem! This place is littered with mail which has been similarly misdelivered, much of it First Class Mail which should be forwarded or returned to sender. I treat misdelivered FCM the way it should be treated, but these rural mail carriers do not. Happily, Ill be moving soon without leaving a forwarding address. Ill notify everyone personally, including creditors. Itll be safer and my mail wont get misplaced or delayed.

I work 4am-12:30, I have school on my days off, Im a busy guy. Now Im also a simple guy, when I see the package says "delivered ready for pick up" well I expect that, but noooo, 9/10 times I get attitude about it not being out yet, now let me mention I go to pick these up on my lunch, so sometimes theyve put stuff out by then (9am) Its not like its no there. I decided to write this comment today because how annoying the whole situation was, from them helping people behind me to me waiting at the door to pick up my "ready to pick up package". Now, a guy working got very close to me to show me that they havent worked a small cart of packages. Well sir, I didnt want to hear your situation, I just wanted a yes or no and I could walk out, the ladies already gave the answer, I didnt need your lip, but you wanted to show off or something. Now Im ranting... Anyways, hope you guys can stop being so snappy all the time. Honestly I hate having to ask you guys to get my package because of how awkward it is.
