The folks at this location as well as the facility itself are a dump. I rented a unit here starting the middle of Sept. shortly afterwards we had sone heavy rain i came to my unit to find a very large puddle of water right in front of my unit what was worse is it was leaking from the roof directly into my unit, fortunately most of the things in there were in plastic storage bins with lids I reported the issue to management who failed to do anything about it because a few weeks later and another heavy rain put another considerably large puddle of water in my unit as well as in front of this time i shot a short video. I had also reported other critical issues such as broken handles on doors and other customers congregating inside the facility late at night none of these issues were ever addressed. On or about the end of Oct. beginning of Nov. I informed them that the unit would be vacated that coming Saturday the 5th of Nov. which it was. It is now the middle of Dec. and i have received a debt collection letter in which they are claiming i owe them money for service that was not rendered as agreement was verbally terminated when i made a prorated payment roughly 5 or 6 days prior to vacating the unit on the Nov 5th furthermore when i rented the unit i was told the lock that i had was no good i needed a maximum security lock, like the ones they sold in house, which i purchased only to take notice shortly after moving into the unit that there were in fact several units with a lock on them very similar to the one i had originally purchased as the hardware store prior to going into their facility. Do business with them if you like but in my opinion they are not dealing in good faith, they lied about the lock needed, they failed to address critical maintenance issues, and try to rip people off by not closing their accounts then putting them into collections I am not done with these shysters there will be a report filled with the BBB and i will be contacting the city to see what else i can do with regards to their shifty business conduct.

I currently rent an inside unit with no major issues (5 months). However, I have to agree with another posters review about the rude office people. I had a young woman argue with me that I needed to buy their lock and their insurance. So I told her she should have informed me of this when I called a few days prior, and she said sometime along the lines of "thats not how I work or I never do that". She also told me (which I remember very clearly) "Well, if I told you over the phone would you have even known what a disc lock was?" Seriously lady? Your job is customer service which means giving customers quality service and ALL the information up front, not acting like a snotty know-it-all. So I had to leave and come back with my own lock (at half the cost- same style lock) and then had the pleasure of arguing with her some more that my own insurance would cover my items (which my insurance confirmed before I got the storage unit). She finally rolled her eyes and gave me access. If it wasnt for my time crunch and the convenience of the location I would have gone somewhere else.

A fantastic experience. Never rented a space before, so I wasnt sure what to expect. Molly & This Storage Facility on Waukegan Rd in Morton Grove are quite simply AWESOME! When I 1st set up my Storage Locker, Molly was extremely patient and helpful with me. She took the time to make sure I chose the correct size Locker. Everything fit just perfectly and I feel I didnt waste time or $$$ selecting the wrong size. The facility itself is well maintained and very accessible to moving my stuff. If you need to store your "forgetables" and live in the area, you wont go wrong with this Public Storage.

I worked with Nick this morning while renting a storage unit. He was super helpful in getting me the right size to fit my needs. The price was very reasonable as well. A quick note, they do require that you buy the renters insurance, so the quoted price will be lower than the amount you actually pay per month. But honestly, I should have expected that. The facility is large and well maintained. The front office, clean and organized. I feel good about our choice to use Public Storage.

Buyer beware - after you have moved into your storage facility - Public will raise their monthly rates as they please. Ive only been in my space for four (4) months and they raised my monthly rate $12.00 per month. That was a 20% increase over the rate that I was paying!!! I emailed them asking to credit and adjust my rate - and no one every responded. 30 days later I called the office just to find out that they can raise the rates whenever they want??

I went into this place to get boxes and the manager Roger was very helpful and friendly. he asked me if I was moving and I said yes, he showed me all the items I might need and I got what I needed.I went to another place to get boxes at first and the boxes werent strong enough.I am glad I came to Public Storage. Very friendly. And the other person in the office was helping a customer with renting a space. Great Place

The lady in front desk helped us with the storage. I did pay over $17 for the lock, and she did not say that it was optional. she made it sound like I had to get it from there. other than that she was police and walked us to the storage area and everything went smoothly. The facility was very clean. Molly called to see if I was happy with the experience, but I did not call her back.

Roger at this public storage location was helpful and made my transition from a 5x10 storage room to a 5x5 storage room smoothly. He was thorough in explaining details of storing items in a storage room and possible hazards that may occur. He is very clear on the insurance options for the stored items. Ive been working with people at this facility and theyve been helpful.

Overall bad experience. The manager girl behind the desk was awful. She shows attitude every time I go and is completely NOT helpful. Wouldnt help me set up auto pay originally. Tried to scam me into buying a lock the first time even though you can use your own. The system they have in place just sucks and they are over priced. I cant get over how the lady just sucked.
