Up until the day I moved my stuff out of the unit and closed my account here, I would have given them 4 out of 5 stars. Here is why. At first everything was great I got an awesome deal on a 10 x 30 storage space. I got it for the price of what a 10 x 10 would be because it was on a deal at the time. I literally chose this particular place which is a little ways from my house because the rent was literally like 150 dollars cheaper than the one close to me. I had the storage space for almost 3 years. Here is where it all went bad. I was set to move out on 8/31/16. On the day of 8/31/16 I showed up to my storage unit and cleaned it out and stopped by the office so I could let them know im out and that they can end the account. I stopped by during open hours. The hours state the place is open from 9am to 6pm. there is no mention that there are times that nobody will be in the office. I stopped by around 11:45AM that day and sure enough there was nobody to be found. I even looked around to see if maybe an employee was showing a space to someone but nobody was around at all. Now I had take a long lunch that day just so i could do the little bit of cleaning i needed to before leaving for good because i probably wouldnt be able to make it back till after 6. Well after waiting for a bit nobody showed up and i had no choice but to go back to work. I didnt remove the lock from the unit because I didnt realize that your supposed to because nobody was there to answer my questions, even though the hours say that someone is supposed to be there. Around 3PM my wife left work early just so she could hurry over to the public storage and check out with them and end the account. Once again when she arrived nobody was around. She looked through the whole complex. Finally after a bit it was time for her to pick up our daughter from daycare so she had to leave. Knowing that neither of us would be able to make it back before 6pm my wife called and left multiple messages for them stating that we had been trying to check out, let them know the space is empty, and end the account. Nobody ever called back, we heard nothing at all. We ended up getting to the storage space at around 6:15 in hopes someone was still there. Of course there wasnt. We left one last message stating that we would be back 1st thing in the morning. The next day rolls around and we call and contact them around 9:30am. They proceed to tell us that as long as the lock is on the door we are still considered moved in but that they would let me justr pay for the day instead of doing another month. So, because they didnt have any workers in the whole complex on multiple occasions DURING BUSINESS HOURS!, I had to pay 20 dollars or so for an extra day. YOU WOULD THINK FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN A GOOD CUSTOMER FOR YEARS THEY WOULD REALIZE THAT IT WAS THEIR FAULT FOR NOT HAVING EMPLOYEES IN THE WHOLE PLACE EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE OPEN. HOW IS IT MY FAULT I DIDNT CHECK OUT WITH THEM WHEN I TRIED TO . I WAS LITERALLY THERE, ON MY SCHEDULED MOVE OUT DATE, DURING BUSINESS HOURS, READY TO END MY ACCOUNT BUT HAD TO LEAVE AND GO BACK TO WORK BECAUSE EARNING MONEY TO FEED MY KIDS IS MORE IMORTANT THAT SITTING AROUND WAITING FOR AN ATTENDANT. IF THEY WERE A GOOD BUSINESS THEY WOULD HAVE SAID, "OK THATS OUR FAULT, YOU WERE HERE AND WE WERENT. THERE IS NO EXTRA CHARGE JUST REMOVE THE LOCK. Thats what a good place of business would have done. Dont go here, they make the customer pay for their own mistakes.

What a difference employees can makes! Jeanine was the Manager of this location when I acquired my unit 2 years ago. She was always cleaning, inspecting the property or interacting with the customers. She always waved to me, and seemed to be paying attention to what was going on. She was the absolute best. I always felt like my things were being taken care of. I noticed a change in how the property was kept up after she moved to a different location. It wasnt always a positive. But, as of this writing, it seems to be rebounding a bit. And, I had the most wonderful experience with one of the employees, Latasha, as I was getting ready to end my lease there. This is NOT when you are expecting to be wowed. But it certainly changed my opinion of Public Storage. Latasha seemed to genuinely care that I was ending my contract with Public Storage. She even encouraged me to check out a smaller, less expensive unit. She even left the office to help me test fit my trailer in the smaller unit. She wanted to make sure that it would work for me. She was very nice and did not pressure me. She offered to hold the unit for 48 hours so that I could take my time in making a decision. Even though I decided to go with another storage company, she was still very nice and helpful upon my leaving. She went with me to the walk-through of my old unit and provided me with everything I needed for a smooth exit. Because of Latasha, I will check out Public Storage first, should I ever decide to shop around for a different storage company than the one I am using now. Thank you Latasha.

Just closed out my account with this Public Storage location after seven years. The only reason this specific location IS RECEIVING A FIVE STAR not a four star Review is because of the on site staff, JEANINE and MARGIE. In the seven years Ive been at this location, any time I needed any assistance with anything, over the the phone or in person, related to my storage unit or storage related, JEANINE and MARGIE have been available. Not only have they been available, JEANINE and MARGIE were cheerful, respectful, attentive and most important ACCOMMODATING. Now, about the location itself. VERY CLEAN, easy access to ones unit. Wide enough streets to fit two full size pickup trucks side by side down the rows of units. My individual unit did its job, kept all my stuff Secure and Dry. Id say something about the price I ended with but, I get it , its a business. Im actually glad Public Storage increased the price of my unit as the years passed. Forced me to get rid of my stuff, close the account and start saving money. Thank you Jeanine and Margie.

I really appreciate the customer service I receive from Jeanine. She is very professional, courteous, and personable. She always greets me with a smile and answers my questions thoroughly. She explained every part of the contract and made sure my code worked before I left. She showed me the different sizes of spaces and materials for sale. She was patient with me. Thanks for all the help. I would definitely recommend this location. I have recommended two people who were satisfied with her customer service. Thx
